How we Work is Important
TMP Community Hub is defined by local needs, and the services and resources are unique to the Northern Bruce Peninsula. We use a mix of volunteers and paid community workers to make the Hub work and use diverse operational functions described here.
Community groups use The Meeting Place and we co-ordinate the access. We
- Host special events
- Facilitate longer-term projects or initiatives
- Provide Direct Services that the community needs
- Partner with other like-minded groups or organizations to achieve greater impact and maximize resources
We work for Rural Support
Future Directions
The future of The Meeting Place is about growing the ‘Community Hub’; getting better at the strategies of rural social support; looking outward to collaborate with others; mobilizing resources; and striving to increase positive impact on the community.
